Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor, director producer and vocalist. An attractive and intelligent actress, she's an example to many Asian actors that want to make it big in Hollywood. The actress gained notoriety after numerous popular characters in the series. The most notable was The Ally McBeal series, where she portrayed Ling Woo the villainous character. The fame she gained from the show was translated into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superb performance as Japanese criminal O'Ren ishii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. The same year, she also took on part in the leading roles of some movies that were not a success at the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she began to sing prominent characters for animation films, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's part on Cashmere Mafia, a small screen production, didn't result in any outcomes. An appearance in the critically acclaimed police drama series Southland was instrumental in establishing her as an established actress. Liu takes her time choosing roles so as to ensure she is not stereotyped within the industry which is extremely competitive. Liu is a Chinese woman who has accepted her roots but hasn't let it limit her artistically.
