Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. She is the daughter of an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's former marriage. Family was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and that she was unable to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to enroll her. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person who hired her as a professional model.
